1. About this policy
Risponse (“we”, “us”) runs the website at risponse.com. This Cookie Policy explains what the website saves in your browser and what data reaches us when you visit. It covers the Risponse marketing website at risponse.com only.
Please read it together with our Privacy Policy.
2. Cookies and browser storage
A cookie is a small text file that a website saves in your browser. Your browser sends it back to that site on later visits. Sites use cookies to keep you signed in, remember settings or follow what you do.
Browser storage, such as localStorage, works in a similar way. A site saves a small piece of data on your device. Unlike a cookie, it is not sent to the website with each request. Only pages on the same website address can read it.
3. What risponse.com uses today
Our website uses Google Analytics, a service from Google, to measure visits. It shows us, in totals, which pages people read, how they found the site and what devices they use. We use it to improve the website. It sets the two cookies listed in section 4.
Our website also uses Microsoft Clarity, a service from Microsoft, to see how people use our pages. It records how a visit unfolds, such as scrolling, clicks and mouse movement, so we can watch replays of visits and see heatmaps of where people click. We use it to find and fix parts of the site that confuse people. It sets the cookies listed in section 4.
The site does not use:
- advertising or social media pixels
- embedded videos or maps
- chat widgets
- third-party fonts
Apart from the Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity tags, our fonts, images and scripts are served from risponse.com itself.

Google Analytics. With each page you view, Google Analytics sends Google the page address and title, the page that linked to it, the time, your browser, device type, screen size and language, and an approximate location (country and city) worked out from your IP address. It also records some actions on the page, such as scrolling and clicks on links that leave the site. Google Analytics does not store IP addresses. We have turned off Google signals and ad personalisation, and we do not send Google your name, email address or phone number. Google keeps the detailed data for 2 months, its standard setting; the totals in its reports are kept longer. Google may process this data outside India. Google explains its own use in how Google uses information from sites that use its services.
Microsoft Clarity. With each page you view, Clarity sends Microsoft the page address, the page that linked to it, your browser, device and screen size, an approximate location worked out from your IP address, and what happens on the page: how it looks, scrolling, clicks and mouse movement. Anything typed into a form field is never recorded, and everything in our sign-up form is hidden from Clarity. Microsoft stores the data in its Azure cloud, which may be outside India. It keeps recordings for 30 days, and a few chosen or sampled recordings, and heatmaps, for up to 9 months. Microsoft explains Clarity’s cookies in Clarity cookies and its own use of data in the Microsoft Privacy Statement.
The currency preference is used only on our pricing page. It is saved only when you pick a currency yourself. It holds no name, email address or other details about you, and it is never sent to Risponse or to anyone else.
If we add another item, such as a note that you closed a notice, we will list it in this table.
5. Your time zone on the pricing page
The pricing page checks the time zone set on your device. If it is India’s time zone, the page shows prices in Indian rupees (INR) at first. Otherwise, it shows US dollars (USD).
This check happens on your device. Your time zone is not saved and is not sent to us. If you have already picked a currency, your choice is used instead.
6. What our hosting provider sees
Our website is hosted on Amazon Web Services (AWS) and delivered through its CloudFront network. Like any web host, AWS receives normal request data when your browser asks for a page. This includes:
- your IP address
- your browser and device type
- the page you asked for and the time of the request
- the page that linked to us, if your browser shares it
AWS uses this data to deliver pages to you and to protect the site. A web application firewall checks incoming requests and blocks ones that look harmful.
CloudFront delivers pages from AWS locations in many countries. So this request data may be handled outside India.
None of this relies on cookies. We do not use this data for advertising or to build a profile of you.
What we keep, and for how long
We keep no request logs for the website today. So there is no lasting record of each visit.
In our AWS account, we can see two other records:
- A sample for the firewall. The firewall keeps a sample of recent requests. For each one, it shows the IP address, the page asked for, the time and the details your browser sent, such as its type. The sample covers only the last 3 hours. We may look at it to check that the firewall works and to spot attacks.
- Totals. AWS counts requests and can group the counts, for example by page or country. These are totals only. They do not show who made each request.
If we decide to keep request logs, we will update this section first. It will say what the logs hold, why we keep them, where they are stored and for how long.
7. No cookie banner today
We do not show a cookie banner. Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity start when a page loads, and the currency preference is saved only when you pick a currency. Section 8 explains how to block them or clear what is saved, at any time.
8. How to control cookies and browser storage
You can block or remove the cookies and the currency item at any time. The steps differ by browser, but most let you:
- clear cookies and site data for risponse.com
- clear all browsing data
- block cookies, or block third-party tracking, for all sites or for risponse.com
- use a private or incognito window, which removes saved data when you close it
To stop Google Analytics on every website, Google offers a browser add-on to opt out. To stop Microsoft Clarity, Microsoft points to the Digital Advertising Alliance opt-out page, where you can select Microsoft. Many browsers and content blockers can also block both tools.
If you block or clear these items, the site still works. The pricing page goes back to choosing a currency from your time zone, as section 5 explains.
9. Other sites and links
This policy does not cover other sites, even when we link to them. These sites may set their own cookies or use browser storage. Instagram, Meta and WhatsApp explain theirs in their own policies. The sites include:
- the Risponse app at app.risponse.com
- our documentation at docs.risponse.com, which is hosted by Mintlify
- Meta websites, such as its developer pages
- WhatsApp chat links (wa.me)
When you follow a link to another site, your browser tells it only that you came from risponse.com. It does not share the exact page you were on.
10. Changes to this policy
We will update this page whenever what we store or use changes. The date at the top shows the last update.
Before we add another tool that sets cookies or tracks visits, such as a heatmap or session recording tool, advertising, or a tool to personalise our messages to you, we will update this policy first. It will say what the tool collects, who provides it, how long the data is kept and how to opt out.
If a change affects how we use your data, we will also tell Risponse account holders first, by email and in the app.
